Matt Vee Family & Friends Celebrate the Music of Neil Diamond – DATE CHANGED

We just received word from the members of the band that the “Matt Vee Family & Friends Celebrate the Music of Neil Diamond” concert scheduled for Riverfest Weekend on June 29 needs to be rescheduled to Friday, August 2, 2019 because one of their band members died suddenly last week. Here is a message from the band:

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce that due to the sudden and untimely passing of our brother, friend and guitar player Kurt Rodman, we have rescheduled our Saturday, June 29 performance at the Dawson-Boyd Memorial Auditorium to Friday, August 2, 2019. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to see you all on August 2.”

Matt Vee & The Killer Vees

We extend our sincere sympathies to these musicians. We appreciate that they were able to postpone and not cancel – and that they offered a summer date.

This situation is a new one for us and we understand that some of our ticket-holders will have questions. Please feel free to share this information with anyone who asks about tickets already purchased. The box office will be staffed for several days as we work through the lists of ticket-holders. This may take several days, so if you are not called immediately, please be patient.

Tickets:

We intend to contact all ticket-holders. If you have purchased tickets, and can still attend the concert on August 2, you do not need to do anything. The seats you chose will be reserved for that August 2 concert.

If you purchased tickets and cannot attend on August 2, you will be contacted by our box office staff to determine how you want to handle your tickets. We will refund tickets for this unforeseen situation in the same manner as the tickets were purchased.

If you purchased tickets and cannot attend, feel free to find someone else to use them! We cannot manage re-sale of tickets through the box office between parties, but since our members were the first to buy tickets, we know you all have great seats!

If you purchased tickets and cannot use them and would like to turn them back in to the box office as a charitable donation, we are happy to provide a charitable receipt for the amount of your purchase.
