Dawson-Boyd Arts Association presents A Musical Tribute to Patsy Cline with Colleen Raye during Riverfest Weekend in Dawson at Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, June 23 at 7:00pm. This is the final performance of the Arts Association’s 17th season.
Singing Patsy Cline’s greatest hits like “I Fall to Pieces,” “Crazy,” or “Walkin’ After Midnight,” as well as some of her lesser-known tunes like “You Belong to Me,” “Stop, Look and Listen,” “Eyes of a Child,” Colleen Ray skillfully brings the artistic presence of Patsy Cline into her performance, singing her songs with a heartfelt sincerity that is rare, while also talking about Patsy’s life. Audiences will appreciate Raye’s natural charisma and sense of humor. Her vocals are supported by a quartet of talented musicians.
